About Our Club

Our Mission

  • To provide a meeting place primarily for the gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender (GLBT) community in 12-Step Recovery Groups who are members of this club and a place where these contributing 12-Step Recovery Groups may hold meetings. “12-Step Recovery Group” refers to any group that holds meetings in accordance with the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.
  • To attract the (GLBT) newcomer into 12-Step Recovery Groups and to foster interest in these programs.
  • To provide facilities for meetings, conferences and communications between groups and service organizations for 12-Step Recovery Groups.

What we do

hope2_id816501_jpg Since our inception in 1991, we have served hundreds of GLBT community members in a wide range of 12-Step Recovery Groups by providing them with a safe, comfortable and supportive place for them to hold meetings. The groups we have served include Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon, Narcotics Anonymous, Crystal Meth Anonymous, Co-Dependents Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous and Sex & Love Addicts Anonymous. Thanks to contributions from our members and an all-volunteer Board of Directors, over 95% of the funds we have raised have gone directly to providing these services. We are currently raising funds for the purpose of purchasing our own building which we will then rent at cost (not for profit) to the groups which wish to meet at our club. Your financial support will allow us to reach out and extend a helping hand to those in the GLBT community who still suffer from addictive behavior so that we may assure them: There is a Solution!
